Centenaries do not spark REVOLUTION

The “specter of Communism is haunting” the world; frightening ruling classes, businessmen, corporatists, capitalists, liberals, conservatives, religious, atheists and petty bourgeoisie leftists who for hundred years did their best to let the people to ignore Bolshevik Revolution 1917, as ignorance is one of the biggest weapons in the hands of World Capitalism, but were unable to expel the year of 2017 from Calendar. Hence having no other option they turned their guns loaded with allegations, slanders, slangs, abuses & taunts against the Bolsheviks, October Revolution and Lenin casting liability of ruining Russia.

Now it is a modern fashion, sacred religious devotion, national responsibility and moral duty of Bourgeoisie to not to leave a single stone throwing against the Bolsheviks.

While in Russia, the battlefield of the Bolshevik Revolution, the new-fangled Russian Elite Class seems more frightened than others in the world. Since long, the so-called Victory Parade in Moscow on 7th of November, of every year being conducted in order to avoid and ignore the anniversaries of Bolshevik Revolution.

This extreme flow of criticism is evident of living Bolshevik ideology, a threat to prevailing world capitalism, despite lapse of more than two decades of the disintegration of USSR.

Neither those who have zest to struggle to make their careers nor those who made their ‘marvelous’ careers without any work could even imagine the greatness of Bolsheviks who were the people having ideology to make a new society instead of making their careers.

The accusers of most common and fashionable allegations, of premature revolution in backward country, casting liability of deaths & famines upon Lenin and of bypassing the evolutionary process always show their anger upon cross examination in the light of many issues including the following questions:

  1. What was the alternate of Bolshevik revolution in early 20 century when Russian people along with Europe people were suffering from destructions of WWI especially the miseries of hunger, deaths and collapse of infrastructure?
  2. Why the provisional government kept the war on and whose war was that?
  • Why the aggression of the foreign countries is ignored when discussing 1917?
  1. Whether Bolshevik Ideology or Historic Revolution should be condemned only for the reason that power, later on, fell in the hands of alleged autocrats?
  2. Why the masterpiece of Lenin is blacked out in 2017?

The pages of Russian history from 1855 to 1917 reveals the trends of resistance against tyranny in Russian society since the abolition of serfdom (slavery of peasants) by Alexander II through Emancipation Reforms, which the ruling elite had to abolish as they were well aware by saying “it is better to liberate the peasants from above than to wait until they won their freedom by risings from below”.

But in 1917 the situation was different. The whole system, including the Russian State and the Bourgeoisie government, was incapable to formulate & implement any program to resolve the issues of mounting errors and destructions. Practically Russian State had collapsed prior to February Revolution while the Millions of helpless army soldiers, being recruited forcibly, fighting on front, without basic needs could meet with two options: either to face death or to plunder villages & cities of their own country. Russia was rapidly going towards anarchy while Russian Bourgeoisies had no interest with Russian people, irrespective of their classes as had been elaborated by American journalist John Reed when Russian businessmen and factory owners were hopeful for advancement of Germans to compress Bolsheviks led working masses. The tragedies were knocking the doors of every class except those who were earning profit from war.

In such situation & circumstances there was no option but forceful intervention in State affairs by toppling the incapable government and replacing the state machinery with the Soviets of Workers, Peasants & Soldiers deputies already in power in the streets, factories and in villages. The same task could be achieved only by Bolsheviks who, in Russia, were only force raising slogan to convert the imperialist war into a civil war on the basis of class conflicts.

The study of question of Marxist stance towards World War I is essential to realize the historical necessity of Bolshevik Revolution. On the centenary of WWI in 2014 the causes & character of WWI was deliberately discounted: even no communist party all over the world highlighted the stance of Rosa & Lenin in 2nd Communist International. Most important question should have been fixed in 2014 that why the large numbers of humans were compelled to fight for the vested interests of certain companies.

Lest the bourgeoisie, the renowned leftists and intellectuals opposed the destination of Bolsheviks including the Great Russian Marxist Philosopher Plekhanove, study of whose writings, Lenin termed mandatory for every communist. Similarly German based Marxist Rosa Luxemburg, called as Eagle of Revolution by Lenin, could not realize some things at the very time of revolutionary epoch and opposed Bolsheviks strikes. The seizure of power in October was not coup e data but completion of the working masses’ revolt of February 1917.

But the so-called communists of present time and other left wing ‘sectarian believers’, cannot utilize these personalities to cover their bias against Bolshevik revolution. Their bias is due to their cowardly tasks & positions to become leader by utilizing the workers by raising the slogans of revolution loudly. But in practice they are found cowardice to listen to the sounds of footsteps of a revolution. Such left-wing intellectuals use to astonish the working class people of their intellectuality likewise a religious priest or magician. But when revolution starts to knock the doors of the society, they find themselves frightened from transformation of intellects, power & leadership in the hands of the masses. So at the very time of practice such communists betray the working masses. Lenin rightly called them “impotent”.

According to Historical Materialism there could be no evolutionary change without revolution. This is not merely a dogmatic lesson from books of Marx & Engle but history proved the same time & again. India is the biggest example of evolutionary process where still caste system forces schedule castes to live like animals while she was Soviet Union who sent a dog to space. The sense of being secured in Soviet era could never be imagined by European people. The countries of Middle East have ancient civilizations and cultures where still liver of a dead enemy is eaten by rival. The civilization of USA based upon two hundred years of civil war but there prevails rising religious extremism, racial hatred and national biasness. Majority of the middle class in Subcontinent is turning to the religious delusions. Involvement of Russian government in supporting Orthodox Church in the era of genetics & cloning raises many questions. Recent warnings of renowned scientist Stephen Hawking regarding AI and destruction of the world clearly endorsed Engels’ definition of capitalism a “system of anarchy”.

Whereas the question of subsequent events after the establishment of USSR we again go through the history from 1917 to 1924.

After October Revolution, Vladimir Lenin halted the new membership of the party in order to keep the dishonest opportunists at arm’s length. In his various writings and speeches he denounced the possible bureaucratic structure in government and in party. Lenin stressed to force the members of old bureaucracy to work under sharp watch & supervision of Proletariat Dictatorship.

It was the time when Bolsheviks were defending their revolution from the attacks and conspiracies of internal counter revolutionary forces, bourgeoisie as well as from foreign invasions of more than dozens of countries. They fought, sacrificed their precious lives and won not only for Russian revolution but for World revolutionary movements.

So how could one condemn them? If they are condemnable for alleged subsequent events then condemn Einstein for nuclear bomb on Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Condemn George Stephen for world wars and environmental issues.

Bolsheviks are condemned because they exposed the capitalism in practice. Bolshevik government was the first and perhaps last in the modern world history who abolished the secret diplomacy publishing all the secret & unannounced government documents and agreements to public. Who could have dared such when in power!

Russian Federation is not celebrating the centenary of Great October Revolution unlike France who in 1989 celebrated the 2nd centenary of French Revolution. Many of us are unable to celebrate the centenary due to situation & circumstances imposed by the Corporates and governments. But it is fact that centenaries do not spark revolutions.  Revolutions are not festivals of Petty bourgeoisie to be conducted on specific dates.

The fate of World Proletariat Revolution depends upon the question whether capitalism has escaped from crisis or not. In presence of miserable lives all around the world, economical crisis, wars, hunger, political instabilities and division of world in states comprising of armed forces only an ignorant or stupid may claim the capitalism free from crisis.

Nevertheless, the core point for success of any proletariat revolution is constant work of working class’ organized party armed with Marxist ideology in the light of heroic struggle of Bolsheviks in 1917.

They were not ordinary people. They were those who stormed the Heaven.
